Last Sunday Pastor James taught from Colossians 2:1-23. This week we will continue with Colossians 3:1-17, taught by Colton Burse.
June 11th we launched a weekly Summer Women’s Bible Study Group on Wednesday evenings at 6:30. We will work through the book of Revelation with the study Eternal King, Everlasting Kingdom. It’s not too late to register at https://thegrovesp.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/2962481,

Grove Kids Summer Camp – We have reserved twenty-five spaces for The Grove Kids and their friends for the week of July 14-19! Campers must be rising 3rd-12th grade to register. Camp runs from 10am-2pm on Monday (check-in) to 8-10am on Saturday (check-out). To go on the waiting list, email Brianna Wieringer at brianna@tvr.org . Cost: The cost of Camp is $450/child. There is a sibling discount for sibling groups of 3+ which is $399/child. Financial assistance is available upon request and application.
Join The Grove for a trip to see the Asheville Tourists baseball team take on the Bowling Green Hot Rods on July 25th! The Grove will provide free tickets, but we do need a number by July 6th… So register today! https://thegrovesp.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/2975852.
For the ladies, tickets are now available for the Grateful Girl Gathering! This year’s conference will be held on September 20 here in Spruce Pine. Tickets can be purchased on their website, you can also speak with Lauren Bomar if you have any questions!

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE: The Grove partners with Neighbors Feeding Neighbors to serve the people of Mitchell County who are in need. NFN is in need of delivery drivers to take meals into the community. If you would be interested in volunteering, please contact Carla. Also check the bulletin board in the lobby to volunteer for help painting the nursery and revamping the kitchen island facade.
