- Have you joined a Home Group at The Grove? If you have never attended one of The Grove’s home groups, you are missing out! Home groups are the absolute best way to get to know others in a relaxed, family-like atmosphere and build relationships. Groups meet on different evenings at different homes, and several still have openings to help you get “plugged in” with like-minded Christians! Let us know if you need help connecting with one.
- Summer Preaching Schedule – Thank you to Jeremiah Nichols for his teaching from 2Kings 23:1-30 on Sunday.
- Building Update – We have gotten so much good news on our building project including good structural engineering report and finding no asbestos in testing! Please continue to pray that God would continue to guide us in the building project.
- The Grove loves the Neighbors Feeding Neighbors (NFN) Food Ministry, located right here in Spruce Pine. If you are interested in learning what NFN does and how you could help, you are invited to attend an informational meeting at their facility on August 29th from 6:30-8:30 pm, to learn what the NFN Food Ministry long term outlook is, current food issues, and future plans for the pantry and community meals. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and they do ask that you RSVP by Friday, 8/25 by calling them at 828-592-4089. NFN is located at 14 Jacksontown Road, Spruce Pine.
The Grove Church Office: Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and we can now be reached during those hours at 828/520-1200.
Sunday’s Sermon is live on facebook and YouTube.
